the sun stands still
solstice
the sun stands still inside me now
wonder finds rest inside me now
all creation stands transfigured
by the radiance of an inner light
the light within the light
without
the luminous landscape opening
listen
the eternal heartbeat
look
a wondrous woman appearing
clothed with the radiance of the sun
with the full moon in her belly
and twelve nations gathered round
bearing gifts from the past
promises for the future
does she approach from without
or does she approach from within
solstice
the sun stands still
inside me now
wonder finds rest
we journey long and long together
knowing
the space within the space
without
planetary beings in spiral dance
within
the living body of the sacred sun

So beautiful David. This year seems more substantial. Change is massive and welcomed!
We are blessed by your poetry, brilliantly describing the big, big picture.
Your understanding of divine woman is comforting.
Thanks for your masterful touch!
Blessed Solstice to you and Anne and all people.

I so love your poetic expression David which is clearly a revelation of the sun standing still within you and wonders finding rest inside you. The spirit of your words reveals that inner light within the light without, and it is a reality I've come to know increasingly.
Solstice: there is a greater and deeper spiritual understanding of the word and I am most thankful for that knowing---the sun stands still inside me, and we journey long and long together....now and forever.
Thank you David for sharing a pure expression of the Divine within. My Love to you, Anne and everyone..
