this day now blossoming

awakening cool of violet dawn
     leads into warming day
eleven a.m.
and the first bees of the morning now arrive
drawing in nectar of astonishing white cherry blossoms
to the northwest
astonishing light blue white haze sky
and puffy white cloud blossoms over the ridge
lifting my gaze
     from blossom to blossom
my self i notice now
     being here blossoming
     in all this splendor
warming in the wonder of this day
     now blossoming in my eye
and in my ear
     now hearing the music
and dancing this same dance
     i notice now
all creation dancing this same dance

The  Darkness  Around  Us  Is  Deep

A  Ritual  To  Read  To  Each  Other

William  Stafford

If you don't know the kind of person I am

and I don't know the kind of person you are

a pattern that others made may prevail in the world

and following the wrong god home we may miss our star.

For there is many a small betrayal in the mind,

a shrug that lets the fragile sequence break

sending with shouts the horrible errors of childhood

storming out to play through the broken dike.

And as elephants parade holding each elephant's tail,

but if one wanders the circus won't find the park,

I call it cruel and maybe the root of all cruelty

to know what occurs but not recognize the fact.

And so I appeal to a voice, to something shadowy,

a remote important region in all who talk:

though we could fool each other, we should consider—

lest the parade of our mutual life get lost in the dark.

For it is important that awake people be awake,

or a breaking line may discourage them back to sleep;

the signals we give — yes or no, or maybe —

should be clear: the darkness around us is deep.

If  We  Will Recall

Breathing deeply with the earth

as this day of remembrance

rises with the sun,

wondering if we will recall

the presence with us

so short a time,

calling us from the tomb

into the garden

of the present moment.

One  Who  Walks  Within

Don  Hynes  April 14, 2019

Born to wonder,
our original memory
a secret code
of symbols and runes
letting darkness nurture,
dreams become talisman.
Emissaries of an ancient light,
born from the mother
on a rushing tide
of blood and water,
we find ourselves
naked and shivering
on an unknown shore.
We learn the stories,
speak the language
until one day the body
within the body
emerges from its chrysalis.
Stones rise, seas lift,
the veil of mystery rents
and the silence of the ages
opens once more
to the one who walks within.

Dr.  Bill  Bahan

Dr. Bill Bahan began his chiropractic practice immediately upon his graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1949. He and his four brothers developed a large and successful chiropractic clinic in Derry, New Hampshire, caring for hundreds of patients a day. However, Bill soon realized that not only were people ill physically, but needed assistance mentally and emotionally as well. Speaking to small and large groups of people, he taught in his own unique and lively way that the most important aspect of human beings is not what’s up front — the body, mind and emotional realm  but the Being aspect, life, that which animates the form.

For many years Bill was in demand worldwide as a speaker and teacher, offering freely his remarkable insight into the way life works, sharing his vision of the laws and principles of being with thousands through the Whole Health Institute. He was a close associate of Lord Martin Exeter, serving in the ministry of Emissaries of Divine Light for many years. The one we knew fondly as Bill Bahan is no longer in form on earth, but he left a legacy of inspiration, that the nature of life is wonderful and all who choose to do so can move easily with it, handling and using creatively every circumstance and situation that arises. Here is the only basis for true healing.

O Captain!  My Captain!

Walt  Whitman

O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done,
The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won,
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring;
But O heart! heart! heart!
O the bleeding drops of red,
Where on the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.

O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;
Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills,
For you bouquets and ribbon’d wreaths—for you the shores a-crowding,
For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning;
Here Captain! dear father!
This arm beneath your head!
It is some dream that on the deck,
You’ve fallen cold and dead.

My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still,
My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor will,
The ship is anchor’d safe and sound, its voyage closed and done,
From fearful trip the victor ship comes in with object won;
Exult O shores, and ring O bells!
But I with mournful tread,
Walk the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.
