The  Blessing  of  Life  is  Always  Present

Stewart Berger  April 3, 2020  California

Since the coronavirus started spreading, it has had a great number of effects, in many cases deadly effects, and there may be more changes to come in how people continue to try to mitigate this spread and address its effects. But regardless of these effects and changes, it's important to remember that some things in life have not changed at all, chiefly among them the spirit of life, which is everflowing and renewing. It is changeless, relatively speaking, and can be depended on, just as we can know the earth will turn day by day, seemingly unmoved by what happens on the surface of the planet. Daylight is followed by moonlight and starlight, and night gives way to morning. The attention of many has been consumed with the effects of the virus, how to deal with it and how to live life while it rages, but regardless of any of this, the current of life flows in and through us, carrying the essences of how to live in harmony with it, in wise, creative and loving ways. Some people do pray for deliverance from ill effects, but it's evident from the focus on death and effects that not nearly enough attention is paid to this constant blessing of life, which if accepted into experience would bring some relaxation and the assurance that there is something greater than effects, and that is what we've called Cause.

It's easy to see that many people have been really impacted by these recent events. In a visceral sense, I perceive that there's great shock at how suddenly this has happened, and also sorrow, both for those who've died and also for the loss of how life was just a few months ago. No doubt the prospect of death has crossed the minds of many. I don't think people were meant to die the way they do and sometimes at such young ages. It doesn't make sense to me that we're given life, only to have the body die years later; that seems to defeat the idea or purpose of life. Near the beginning of the Bible, it's said that people lived far longer than they do now. Adam and several descendants had lifespans of between 900 and 1,000 years. I suspect something about their state of being aided their long lives and probably made them immune to some viruses like we have today, if they had any back then. Grace Van Duzen wrote, in The Book of Grace, “…if we recall that man was not created to die but to move in ways long forgotten, it is credible that at that time, prior to another great cataclysm, man could survive on this planet for quite some time”. Partly because of shorter lifespans today, it's no wonder that people are afraid of death “before their time”.

There may be grieving because of the effects of the virus and the changes in life that result from them. But it's also an opportunity, for those who're able, to realize that this is what happens when mankind lives in a state of being, or at a vibrational level, that it was not meant to, with the experience of death, rather than life. I think it was Uranda who said something once about how, even if a person experiences exceptional health, it would pale in comparison to the health one would experience if mankind was restored. The Book of Revelation describes—one could even say promises—a state in which “…there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying…” if the current of the spirit of life is given free flow in us, “a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb”. Nearby was described the tree of life, which bare fruits every month, dependable cycles, “and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations”. Healing comes when we rise to a level vibrationally where healing can naturally take place. People talk about raising one's vibration, and I think it's wise to consider this—even wiser to experience it. What's happening now because of the virus may bring some change within people, in society and in the world, and possibly great change in some ways, but I suspect that for many, such changes may not take hold at a deep level, unless an individual reaches the point where they acknowledge true Cause and find how they're connected with it. Then they can share that experience with others. I know from my own experience that maturing spiritually can take years, though it may've happened more quickly for you. However, every day, every moment, offers a beautiful and holy—wholly—new opportunity for change, and any movement by someone is useful, partly because it can help influence the movement of the whole body.

The blessing of life is always present, and like many others, probably including you, I'm sharing that blessing through attunement with others I feel I'm connected with through the day and the evening, even as I go about my tasks, with every soul who reaches out, whoever and wherever they may be. I've sometimes found it hard to sleep a full night lately, and maybe it's been the same for you, because of this impact, which I perceive as a hunger in others for reassurance that there's something unchanging and dependable. Life it is, as it has been ever since the days of Adam and Eve, way back then. I think the continuation of human life through the millennia to this day says a lot about the giving nature of Source and about our purpose here. Making the connection with others in whatever way may help them on the path to discovering that life is much more than the effects we experience and see around us, that the nature of life is actually eternal, always flowing, and can be depended on and known in and through us and between us, so that we can live in such a way that we fulfill our reason for being here, individually and together.
